Thieves steal wallet, use credit card

Selinsgrove, Pa. — Two people were charged for allegedly stealing a woman's wallet and then using her credit card at a gas station.

Jessica Lynn Kemper, 53, and Charles Francis Kemper, 62, both of Selinsgrove, received theft charges after they allegedly took the wallet from a location at North Susquehanna Trail in Monroe Township.

Trp. Samuel Kuhns II of state police at Selinsgrove says the victim discovered the morning of March 30 she had lost her wallet. While making a report to police, she found out that one of her credit cards had been used at a local gas station.

Jessica Kemper received misdemeanor theft charges through the office of District Judge Scott A. Zeigler. Charles Kemper received conspiracy theft charges. Both are awaiting a preliminary hearing date.
