Albany man sentenced for 2022 murder
ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — The man convicted of a 2022 murder in Albany was sentenced Friday to 25 years to life in prison. Willie Green, 41, was found guilty back in April of one count of murder in the second degree, one count of criminal facilitation in the second degree, and one count of hindering prosecution in the first degree, following a jury trial in Albany County Supreme Court. Prosecutors said that, in November of 2022, Green and others caused the death of Hacief Oliver in the area of 2nd Street and North Lake Avenue in the City of Albany.
