Lots of Sunshine Friday
Plenty of sunshine will end out the week with warm temperatures to go along with it. Highs will be in the lower-80s. Skies will be mostly clear overnight with lows around 50. Clouds will be increase on Saturday as low pressure approaches from the Great Lakes region. A few late day showers cannot be ruled out with a couple rumbles of thunder. On Saturday, the Storm Prediction Center has the Twin Tiers under a marginal (1 out of 5) risk for severe weather. A few storms may contain gusty winds and heavy downpours. We will be in the 80s over the weekend with drier weather and fair skies expected on Sunday. A warm front will lift pass the area on Memorial Day with showers during the day. A cold front will follow with the chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid to upper-70s. The cooling trend will continue through the mid-week with temperatures in the mid-70s Tuesday and upper-60s for Wednesday and Thursday. All three days we could see scattered showers hanging around.
