Driver dies after pickup crashes into building; medical emergency suspected
12PM UPDATE -- The Chemung County Sheriff's office release more information regarding Wednesday morning's crash in Horseheads. According to authorities, the driver is identified as 61-year-old Michael Vargo, who has passed away. The Sheriff's Office states a preliminary investigation indicates that Vargo suffered a cardiac event while driving the pickup truck, causing it to go off the shoulder of Old Ithaca Road and into the building.
