Standing on her front steps north of Royalton, Angel Przybilla captured the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) with her cellphone, Saturday, May 11. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Weather Service the display across the globe was the result of a rare G5 geomagnetic storm.
5 Under 40: John Waletzko of Bradbury Stamm is St. Cloud's go-to construction guru
ST. CLOUD — John Waletzko knew what he wanted to do early in life. "I was very fortunate that I grew up in a construction family," the 32-year-old SC Times/LocalIQ 5 Under 40 winner said. "My dad operated a concrete masonry company that my grandpa had started. So, construction was very much in the family and in my blood."

Memorial Day ceremony set for community center
The annual Memorial Day ceremony will take place starting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 27 at the Sartell Community Center. The Center is located at 850 19th St. S. The American Legion Post 277 of Sartell is encouraging residents to attend the event, which honors all the men and women who died while serving in the military for their country.
