Saratoga Police arrest man on multiple drug charges

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Saratoga Springs Police Department announced that an arrest has been made following a drug distribution investigation. Michael Dzieniszewski, 37, is facing multiple charges.

On May 2, Saratoga Police’s Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Vanderbilt Terrace after receiving multiple reports of alleged illegal narcotics activity at the residence. Police say Dzieniszewski was arrested as a result of the search. He now faces the following charges:

Charges

• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance – intent to sell
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug
• Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Dzieniszewski was arraigned at the Saratoga Springs City Court and remanded to the custody of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. He is scheduled to return to court on May 21.
