Person Injured After Small Fire Breaks Out In Newhall Home

A person was injured after a fire broke out in a Newhall home Wednesday afternoon.

Around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a structure fire in the 24800 block of Aden Avenue in Newhall, said Luis Garcia, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department .

It is a small fire in the attic that was quickly extinguished, according to radio traffic.

At least one civilian suffered smoke inhalation in the fire and was transported to a local hospital, according to initial reports.
