Woman, 50, arrested for embezzling $300K from tech company where she worked

( KRON ) — A 50-year-old woman was arrested last week for allegedly embezzling from the tech company where she worked, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. SMC deputies received a report of embezzlement from a tech company in San Carlos in June of 2023.

During the course of an investigation that lasted several months, 50-year-old Tina M. Cabudoy of Santa Rosa was identified as the suspect. On March 20, SMC deputies with the assistance of the Santa Rosa Police Department, took Cabudoy into custody without incident and later arrested her.

She was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on the following charges:

• Embezzlement
• Bench warrant
