Are the Spurs a potential trade destination for Stephen Curry?

The San Antonio Spurs are going to be active this summer. They’ve seen that Victor Wembanyama can be the face of the franchise, and more importantly, they know that he can help them win right now. Because of that, they need to strike an even balance between planning for right now and for the future.

One guy that could raise eyebrows is Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry. The Warriors missed the postseason this year, getting bounced in the first game of the Play-In Tournament. And while it seemed wildly unlikely that Curry would depart from Golden State, some betting outlets have the Spurs as favorites to land him should he leave.

The NBA Swish YouTube channel recently discussed this idea and why it could be a dream for the Spurs and a nightmare for the Warriors.

Pairing Curry next to Wembanyama would create a lethal tandem on both ends of the court.
