LIVE UPDATES: Concho Valley Sends Athletes to State Tennis Tournament
SAN ANTONIO— The UIL State Tennis Tournament is currently being played and athletes from the Concho Valley have advanced! As of 10:20 a.m., Emily Scott of Veribest has won her matchup in the Quarterfinals against Anna Hagler of Martinsville. Scott will play again in the Semifinal against Daylee Chisum of Jayton at 2:00 p.m. Also advancing to the Semifinals is Mason’s Mason Hatfield over Reagan County’s Leevi Knight. SAN ANGELO, TX — A brand new BMW was severely damaged in a crash at N. Bryant Blvd. and the Houston Harte Expy. At around noontime on Sunday. We saw at least two crash victims treated and then transported to Shannon with non-life-threatening injuries.

Allison Schwarz, an extension agent for horticulture, advises, "When it’s cooler like it has been, you can get by with watering maybe once or twice a week. But as it gets hot, you have to remember that potted plants have a smaller root system. They are restricted to the pot, which is exposed to sun and wind, so potted plants need to be watered more frequently than those in the ground."

On Wednesday, expect an increase in clouds and a 30% chance for mainly afternoon showers and storms, most likely not severe. Thursday, the storm chance is up to 60% with a potential for some storms on Thursday to turn severe and producing damaging wind and large hail. Highs Wednesday, Thursday and Friday around 90 each day but Saturday through Monday will see temperatures climb to 100 to 102!
