SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo State Park will host a series of public events throughout May, inviting guests of all ages to explore nature and wildlife in diverse and engaging ways. Tomorrow, May 18, John Talley will lead a trail bike ride starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Burkett Trailhead. This event caters to both beginners and seasoned riders. Sunday, May 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., participants can "Meander to the Permian Tracks" and learn about the prehistoric mammals that once roamed the park, pictured in the cover image. Walking With Traffic Snares a Woman With Mountain of Warrants
SAN ANGELO, TX —Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report 11 individuals were booked since midnight, May 16, 2024, on charges ranging from drug possession to trespassing and "walking with traffic". There are 451 inmates housed in the Tom Green County Jail presently.

SAN ANTONIO- The Concho Valley has athletes competing in the UIL State Tennis Tournament in San Antonio that got delayed last night due to weather. Mason Puncher Mason Hatfield won his Semifinal matchup and is playing Albany's Luke Marshall in the Finals. Wall's Joseph Malone won his Semifinal matchup against Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill's Braden Buchanan and will play either Alijah Miranda from Corpus Christi London or Kell Castleberry from Vernon in the Finals. Joshua Alexander Carroll, 33, was taken into custody on May 14, 2024, following an investigation led by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Texas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a wanted woman. There is a warrant out for the arrest of Candice Campbell, a 41-year-old woman wanted for theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000.

SAN ANTONIO— The UIL State Tennis Tournament is currently being played and athletes from the Concho Valley have advanced! As of 10:20 a.m., Emily Scott of Veribest has won her matchup in the Quarterfinals against Anna Hagler of Martinsville. Scott will play again in the Semifinal against Daylee Chisum of Jayton at 2:00 p.m. Also advancing to the Semifinals is Mason’s Mason Hatfield over Reagan County’s Leevi Knight.
