Delays coming to Troutdale roads for hazardous tree removal
Expect traffic delays next week across Troutdale as road crews remove hazardous trees that are at high risk of falling along a trio of roadways. From Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, Multnomah County crews will be working from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. At each site there will be large equipment and flaggers directing traffic. Delays could reach up to 20 minutes. Protesters set up encampment in South Park Blocks
PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A protest in the South Park Blocks had several dozen people and around 20 encampments, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said. On Thursday afternoon, PPB was told of social media posts calling for an encampment in the South Park Blocks. Thursday evening, a group began forming in the 1800 block of Southwest Park Avenue, south of Southwest Montgomery Street. They started setting up tents and barricades.
