Three wounded in two Saturday night shootings in 7th Ward, New Orleans police say
Three people were wounded in two non-fatal shootings on Saturday night in the 7th Ward, the New Orleans Police Department reported. The first shooting occurred in the 2200 block of Frenchmen Street and was reported at 9.43 p.m. An unidentified male and female were sitting on a porch when another male approached and began firing shots at them. The victims drove themselves to hospital. There were no other details about their injuries.
Crash kills two, seriously injures another in St. Bernard Parish
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Louisiana State Police say a head-on collision killed a Chalmette woman and man. The crash also injured an Alabama woman. Troopers say the wreck happened Sunday morning around 2 a.m. on LA 46 at Jacob Drive. The crash claimed the lives of 38-year-old Brandon Harvey and his passenger, 37-year-old Crystal Williamson of Chalmette.
