    Shooting at St. Louis gas station leaves one dead, child in critical condition

    ST. LOUIS — Police responded to a shooting Wednesday night that resulted in the death of one man and left a six-year-old in critical condition. The child and the man did not know each other.

    The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 8800 block of North Broadway, inside the Convenience Express gas station. Two men entered the store and opened fire, injuring a 34-year-old man and the six-year-old boy. The man was later taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
