ST. LOUIS – St. Louis detectives have identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run that happened earlier this month in the city’s Vandeventer neighborhood.

According to a statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, Kisha Jackson was struck and killed at the intersection of Page Boulevard and Whittier Street around 11:10 p.m. on May 3.

Charges filed in case of intruder shot by homeowner

Police claim Jackson and an acquaintance were standing on the southwest corner, waiting for their ride. Their ride arrived at the northwest corner of the intersection. Jackson and the second person began walking northbound across Page. A car traveling eastbound struck Jackson. The driver fled the area.

Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 45.

Anyone with information on the investigation can contact the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
