Those closures include sites in such states as Alabama, Florida and Kentucky, the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Louisville Courier Journal and Montgomery Advertiser reported. "Like, right now we're going into holidays, and it gets slower, but we have lots of catering and all kinds of things we do in the community, so it depends on location to location." The Crumbl Cookies brand was created in 2017 in Logan, Utah. The Topeka location opened its doors May 2022. What's going on at Crumbl? Crumbl Cookies has faced financial challenges in 2026, leading to layoffs and the shuttering of dozens of locations nationwide, dining news magazine Restaurant Business reported, said the Detroit Free Press.
