A Rome pizzeria is being forced to change its name after receiving a cease-and-desist order from the family of a music icon.

Sinatra’s Pizzeria said it was served the cease-and-desist order from the family of Frank Sinatra a few days ago, according to a Tuesday post on Facebook.

“They have been really nice and given me plenty of time to make the change,” the pizzeria said in the social media post. “That said I have always tried to be transparent as possible and connected with our communities and customers that support us. So, we have a couple names that we’re leaning towards but I wanna listen to any suggestions from anyone that might just have the perfect name.”

The pizzeria said the Sinatra name "came from a lady I knew for 2 minutes and it was a beautiful name and we tried to represent it with class," the pizzeria posted.

Frank Sinatra is a legend, the pizzeria said.

The pizzeria said it will do its best to make the name change a great one. It has opened its Facebook post to suggestions, with a multitude already flooding in.

"Our name on the sign will change but our products customer service and attention to our communities will never change,” the pizzeria posted.
