STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A New York Lottery player has claimed a $1 million prize on a scratch-off game — and one top prize still remains. Walter Jewels of Freeport, New York, has claimed the prize on the Magic 8 Ball scratch-off game. The ticket was purchased at Curiosity, located at 193 Atlantic Ave., in Freeport.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A lottery player in New York City has claimed $2 million in a doubled Powerball second prize, according to lottery officials. Chi Lee Lee of Elmhurst, Queens, matched the first five numbers in a Powerball drawing on Feb. 26, according to the New York Lottery. When purchased, Chi Lee Lee opted for the $1 Powerplay feature that allows players to multiply a non-jackpot prize up to 10 times. It automatically doubled the second $1 million prize to $2 million.
