    One arrest after hours-long standoff on Upper Falls Blvd.

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two people were detained following an hours-long standoff with SWAT teams inside a building on Upper Falls Boulevard.

    According to New York State Police,

    NYSP told News 8 they surrounded a building and shut down the roadway Tuesday night in search of a suspect in an earlier pursuit. They said it was an isolated incident with no threat to the public.

    Police used what appeared to be flash bangs and the SWAT team broke down the building’s door before going in.

    Around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, two people were taken out.

    According to New York State Police, Charles Q. Reed, 36, was charged with reckless endangerment, obstruction of governmental administration, and traffic infractions.
