Kent Dec 10 Weekly Crime Report: 545 Incidents and 8 Crime Stories. During the last week, the city of Kent reported a total of 545 crime cases. The most common type of crime was 'Suspicious Situation' with 127 cases, closely followed by 'Theft' with 125 cases. 'Other' crimes accounted for 118 cases, while 'Assault' stood at 72 cases. Less frequent but still significant were 'Burglary' and 'Arrest' with 27 and 26 cases respectively. 'Vandalism' was reported 20 times, 'Argument' 14 times, 'Robbery' 9 times, and 'Trespass' 5 times. The least common type of crime was 'Shooting' with only 2 reported cases. This data indicates an urgent need for increased vigilance and law enforcement presence, particularly to address the surge in suspicious situations and thefts.
