McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant at Bridgeport Village to close this weekend
The last in a trio of popular Portland steak and seafood restaurants is shuttering its doors. The final day of service at McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant at Bridgeport Village, 17015 S.W. 72nd Ave. in Tigard, will be Saturday, March 22, a manager confirmed. The closure will mark an end to the fabled restaurants, which first opened their doors in 1974. The Beaverton McCormick & Schmick’s on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway closed its doors in March 2019, citing a lease expiration and decision not to renew, according to news reports at the time. Then on March 31, 2024, the McCormick & Schmick’s RiverPlace, which overlooked the Willamette River, served its final diners, also following an expiration of the restaurant’s lease there. A response to an email regarding the reason for the closure of the Bridgeport Village McCormick & Schmick’s was not immediately available from the restaurant’s parent company, Landry's Inc., based in Houston. That said, it looks like a last hurrah is planned for the final restaurant in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day.
