Record Rainfall Hits Northwest get ready for 80 degrees this week
This past weekend, the Northwest experienced a deluge of rainfall, providing much-needed relief to the region. Rainfall totals were impressive, particularly on Sunday, with Pendleton soaking up 1.81 inches, Walla Walla seeing over an inch and a half, and Hermiston receiving just under the same amount. Even the Tri-Cities, which typically sees less precipitation, recorded over half an inch, marking a significant event as the last time such rainfall occurred in a single day was back in November 2022.

REGIONAL - The rain has now pushed off east of the Tri-Cities but we've still got some shower activity over towards Dayton and just south of Walla Walla. Pea-sized hail fell in parts of the Tri-Cities Monday afternoon as a quick thunderstorm passed overhead.
