VALDOSTA – Valdosta High School’s Class of 2024 Valedictorian recently attended the Governor’s Valedictorian Reception. Bryant Miley attended the 2024 Governor’s Valedictorian Reception at the Georgia State Convocation Center on June 1, 2024. Through his hard work, determination, and commitment to educational excellence, he became Valdosta High School’s Class of 2024 Valedictorian. We congratulate him on this extraordinary achievement, and we are thankful the governor gave him the opportunity to celebrate with his family, friends, and other valedictorians across the state of Georgia.
Naturally Southern to perform at Music in the Art Park Concert Series
VALDOSTA – Naturally Southern will perform live as part of the Music in the Art Park Concert Series at the Turner Center. The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will host country/rock band Naturally Southern (2023 Georgia Country Awards Band of the Year and 2023 Georgia Country Music Hall of Fame)for a live Music in the Art Park concert on Fri., June 14 from 7-9 p.m. in the Art Park located at 605 N. Patterson St. The concert, sponsored by Greater Valdosta United Way, is free to the public.
