W.Va. man killed in Meigs County accident
POMEROY – One man was killed Saturday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 33 in Meigs County, according to the Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A 2022 Ram 1500 driven by Michael McFarland, 31, Oak Hill, W.Va., was traveling east on U.S. 33 near milepost 18 when the vehicle went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and a tree and overturned, the patrol said.
