Residents clean out their closets for one massive yard sale

BELLEPOINT, WV (WVNS) – Bellepoint residents are planning to make some dough from their spring cleaning.

Every year, the community of Bellepoint hosts a community yard sale. Everyone is encouraged to set up a table on Friday, May 31, 2024, through Saturday, June 1st.

Amy Richmond, Resident of Bellepoint, said participating in the yard sale is not just an opportunity to make money.

“For me I think it’s a lot of fun. I usually do it with family members on our property here in Bellepoint. We get to see lots of friends and family who stop by during those two days,” said Richmond to 59News.

Richmond said those who participate in the yard sale set up around 8 a.m. She also said it is usually up to the homeowner for when they want to end their yard sale.
