RACHEL, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was flown to the hospital Tuesday following a vehicle crash that temporarily shut down Husky Highway in Rachel.

According to an official with the Marion County 911 Center, at about 7:50 p.m., crews were alerted to a single-vehicle accident with entrapment. West Virginia 511 reported that the crash took place near the intersection of Husky Highway and Carnegie Road.

When crews arrived, they confirmed that there was entrapment and found one person to be injured. HealthNet Aeromedical Services was then alerted to fly the person to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. The official did not specify that person’s condition.
