Baby formula giveaway to be held in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – City Council members will be hosting a baby formula giveaway in Queens on Friday – just in time for Mother’s Day.

The giveaway was made possible through a partnership with the City Council and the nonprofit organization, UA3.

The city budget earmarked over $100,000 to UA3 to support its food pantry initiatives. Families with infants can stop by Councilmembers Sandra Ung and Linda Lee’s offices on May 10 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to pick up free baby formula.

Ung’s office is located at 136-21 Latimer Pl., Suite 1D, in Flushing. Lee’s office is at 73-03 Bell Blvd. in Oakland Gardens.

There’s a limit of two cans per family.
