The shores of Lake Ontario might not be brimming with lobster, but it’s not hard to find a top-tier, fresh, juicy roll right in the (585). I like a lot of foods, but seafood is my favorite, and I don’t think that will ever change. East Coast and West Coast, I’ve had it all, seafood in every coastal town from Newport, Oregon, down to San Francisco, California, Long Island to Boston. So when it comes to seafood, if I say it’s good, it’s good. And Roc Lobster? Very good.

All-you-can-eat Asian restaurant opens in Henrietta | Exclusive

MOSU Asian BBQ & Hot Pot has opened in the former Red Lobster at 655 Jefferson Road in Henrietta. It is the second location for the Albany-based restaurant. The restaurant offers two interactive all-you-care-to-eat experiences: Asian BBQ, in which diners cook their food on gas-fired ceramic charcoal grills, or hot pot, in which they cook their food in broth. Diners have two hours in which to enjoy their meals. The Asian barbecue menu includes beef, lamb, poultry, seafood and vegetable choices. The hot pot menu is made up of broth bases, ranging from mild to spicy, to be combined with meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles and/or rice. The menu offers vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, halal and gluten-friendly options. Its bar also serves craft cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, sake, soju and an a la carte menu of shareable plates. Happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with 20% off bar fare, house wines, beer and sake. Built in the mid-1970s, the Red Lobster building had been vacant since May 2024, when the casual-dining seafood chain shut down dozens of locations nationwide and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy (from which it later emerged). Finger Lakes Rail Experience debuts Christmas excursion

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Rail Experience will conclude its second operating season by launching a new holiday-themed excursion. The 2026 Finger Lakes Christmas Train will offer 70-minute round trips on Nov. 28–29 and Dec. 4–6, 11–13, and 18–20. The trips will depart from downtown Canandaigua at 25 Pleasant St. and will travel to the Shortsville depot, which will serve as the North Pole destination.
