    Kentucky licensing office worker allegedly used customer’s debit cards for online shopping

    FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A woman who worked at a Department of Transportation Driver Licensing Office has been charged after allegedly using debit card information obtained while working to shop online.

    According to an arrest citation, Prestonsburg police arrested 30-year-old Brittany Dingus, of Johnson County, on Friday after an investigation found that she obtained personal debit card information from three people.

    The citation alleges she made several purchases and used someone else’s email address to make some of the purchases.

    According to court documents, she was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card between $500 and $1,000; attempted fraudulent use of a credit card after it was reported stolen between $500 and $1,000; and first-degree unlawful access to a computer.

    Her arraignment is scheduled for May 8.
