Police respond to bicycle vs. vehicle collision
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police responded Thursday for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at Veterans Memorial Lane and Church Avenue. Just before 3:30 p.m., a vehicle turning left from Veterans Memorial Lane onto Church Avenue collided with a bicyclist, according to Bowling Green Police Department public information officer Ronnie Ward.
UPDATE: Man involved in exchange of gunfire captured in Tennessee
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has announced the capture of Jessie Ray Curtis, 36, in Tennessee on Thursday. According to deputies, Curtis sustained a gunshot wound to his back during an exchange of gunfire stemming from an incident on Ella Way in Bowling Green on Monday, April 22.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Bowling Green Police Department is actively searching for a man with a warrant for his arrest. Joshua Webster fled from a traffic stop. He nearly struck two officers in the process of fleeing the scene. Later, Webster crashed into a fence and ran from his vehicle.
Woman says she wants answers after her dog died following grooming appointment
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO/Gray News) - A pet owner in Kentucky says she is heartbroken and looking for answers following the death of her dog. According to Caleigh Lundy, her 5-year-old chow chow named Wednesday was dropped off at an area Petco to be groomed on April 17, but the animal ended up collapsing and dying.

Last week, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to an unknown trouble call at a Days Inn along Cumberland Trace Road, where they discovered a deceased man inside one of the rooms.
