Coyotes reported in Bowling Green, area officials provide insight
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - WBKO has received several reports of coyotes in Bowling Green, particularly around the Russellville Road and Veterans Memorial Lane area. Though we could not obtain photos or videos of the animals, WBKO spoke with area officials on safety and found coyotes in the city are more likely than you might think. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife reports coyotes in all 120 counties, finding shelter in hollow trees or logs, brush piles, and even abandoned buildings.

On campus parking, restaurants change hours for today
WKU Parking and Transportation Services and WKU Restaurant Group announced changes to hours on Wednesday afternoon starting at 2 p.m. Kyle Rittenhouse will be speaking at Downing Student Union at 7 p.m. tonight. Scottsville hosts over 50 K9 units from across the country at annual 'Onpoint K9 Competition'
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - Over 50 K9 officer teams from across the country have gathered in Scottsville for the 11th annual ‘Onpoint K9 Competition.’. Police Departments from as far as Colorado gathered at the secluded Allen County property where five abandoned houses and expansive woods are available for narcotics detection training and tracking. Throughout the week, K9 officers and their handlers compete, train, and network with world-class trainers.

Jordan Riehm named Kentucky’s 2024 Banjo Champion
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Jordan Riehm entered into his second competition ever this year and came out on top once again. He’s a two-time state champ, winning the title in 2022 and now again in 2024, and he said he feels great.
