AUTO RACING — The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to Portland International Raceway for the Pacific Office Automation 147 race, Friday-Saturday, May 31-June 1. The June 1 main race will be 75 laps on the 12-turn PIR road course and will include three-time Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen and the past two Portland race winners, A.J. ‘ZOOBREW’ — The Oregon Zoo’s annual beer tasting festival returns Friday-Saturday, May 31-June 1, with more than 40 Northwest breweries represented and live music, zookeeper chats, lawn games and more. It’s for adults (21 and over) only. More: oregonzoo.org/events/zoobrew

HILLSBORO PRIDE PARTY — The free, family-friendly community celebration during Pride Month features live entertainment, food, vendors, resources and activities for all pages. OREGON RENAISSANCE FAIRE — The annual Oregon Renaissance Faire returns to the Clackamas County Event Center’s fairgrounds, 694 N.E. Fourth Ave. in Canby over three consecutive weekends: June 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16. The event will feature artisans and food, ale and other beverages, jousting knights and unique entertainment throughout each day.
