Salisbury Sea Gulls end reguar season on four game winning streak
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Sea Gulls Women’s Lacrosse Team takes down Christopher Newport 18-11 to end the season on a four-game winning streak. It was a close game through three quarters, with the Gulls and Captains tied at eight at halftime and being tied 10-10 with a few ticks left in the 3rd. Then the Gulls turned it on with a 5-0 Gulls run that helped them take full control of this game. The Gulls were on fire during the fourth quarter, scoring six goals in the final frame to open this game up. The defense also stepped up a level in the fourth, the Gulls only gave up one goal for the last 15 minutes of the game. Head Coach Jim Nestor said things turned around for the Gulls at the right time.
