Woman injured in two-vehicle crash at busy Pocatello intersection

POCATELLO — A woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at a busy Pocatello intersection on Wednesday afternoon.

The collision between a Nissan car and Ford pickup truck occurred at 12:30 p.m. at East Center Street and 10th Avenue.

The adult female driver of the car suffered injuries in the crash and was transported via Pocatello Fire Department ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. Police said her injuries were non-life threatening.

Her name hasn't been released.

The intersection was temporarily shut down because of the crash.

It appeared that the Nissan car was totaled in the crash, while the Ford pickup truck suffered only minor damage.

Further details on how the wreck occurred haven't been released.

The accident remains under investigation by Pocatello police.
