    Waterford motorcyclist injured in Plainfield crash

    PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Waterford man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday in the Central Village section of Plainville, according to police.

    Plainfield police said that around 2:40 p.m., a 41-year-old motorcyclist was heading north on Main Street when a 40-year-old woman driving an SUV tried to enter the intersection of Main Street and Adams Drive. The man then hit the SUV, according to police.

    The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

    No charges have been filed.
