Search for bank robbery suspect in Reserve Township puts nearby school on lockdown

The man who robbed a bank in Reserve Township is still on the run after an active search Thursday.

The Dollar Bank in Reserve Township, near Reserve Primary School, was robbed Thursday.

Police said the man demanded money at the bank and claimed to have a gun but never pulled it out.

“Ross Township Police Department had their drones up, they were checking the area to see if maybe he was hunkered down somewhere, also looking for any articles of clothing that he may have disposed of,” Reserve Township Police Chief Brandon Morgan said.

Police say they have surveillance pictures to help identify the suspect.
