84-year-old on riding lawnmower killed in crash with truck
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (Gray News) – An 84-year-old man was killed earlier this week after a crash involving a riding lawnmower. According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, Donald Curd was hit by a Ford F-350 while driving a John Deere X540 on Leesburg Road in Jonesborough, Tenn. Monday around 2:45 p.m.

Police investigating after man shot in Kingsport
KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WCYB) — Authorities are investigating after a man was shot on Tuesday night, according to the Kingsport Police Department. Police responded to the 2100 block of E. Center Street at around 11:11 p.m. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The man told police that several unknown males were trying to buy a television when an altercation occurred. The man told police that one of the males shot him before fleeing the scene.

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WCYB) — A Jonesborough man is facing multiple charges after he was found hiding on a front porch under a mattress, according to authorities. Washington County, Tennessee, deputies arrested 36-year-old William Ramsey on Monday and charged him with violation of order of protection and resisting stop/evading arrest.
Glen Allen man charged with scamming Tennessee woman out of nearly $134k
A Glen Allen man is facing multiple charges after law enforcement officials in Tennessee allege that he scammed a woman there out of nearly $134,000. Twenty-nine year-old Hang Than was arrested in Prince William County April 16 and is currently incarcerated there awaiting extradition to Sullivan County, Tennessee, where the victim lives according to the Kingsport Times News.
