Weekly Safety Report: Two Deaths in Jonesborough Fire, Arrest Made for Violation of Order and False Imprisonment
Two incidents occurred in Jonesborough, Tennessee this week. The first incident involved a South Carolina man, Stevie Tolley, who was arrested for violating a protective order and false imprisonment. Tolley had fortified an exit in a residence to prevent the person who filed for protection from leaving. In the second incident, a fire broke out in the early morning, resulting in the death of two individuals. Three juveniles managed to escape the fire and alerted authorities. The investigation is being conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office with assistance from the TBI.
Kingsport Resident Shawna Lee Found Safe After Search by KPD and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation
The Kingsport Police Department (KPD) reported a missing adult, Shawna Lee, on December 5th, 2023. The 33-year-old woman was last seen near Five Below on 2003 N. Eastman Rd. She often visits Minute Market on 1108 E. Center Street. Shawna is described as having black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing around 140 pounds. The KPD requested public assistance in locating her.
