The 76ers looked down and out — but then they scored seven points in the final 28 seconds at Madison Square Garden.

Philadelphia forced overtime, with Tyrese Maxey hitting a 3-pointer from just beyond half court with under 10 seconds remaining, tying the game at 97 apiece on Monday night before the 76ers shocked the Knicks with a 112-106 overtime win .

Maxey finished with a game-high 46 points, shooting 7-for-12 from beyond the arc, but no points were bigger than the seven he scored at the end of regulation, with the 34-footer to knot the game up the biggest three points of all.

“Going through my mind right there was just, find a way to survive,” Maxey told reporters after the game.

Tyrese Maxey was amped after his game-tying bucket.

That came just a little over 10 seconds before Maxey completed a four-point play after getting fouled by Mitchell Robinson.

    Tyrese Maxey’s game-changing 4-point play shouldn’t have counted: NBA

Josh Hart went 1 of 2 from the free throw line after that to open the door for Maxey.

His seven points in less than 20 seconds absolutely stunned the Garden crowd.

Jalen Brunson made one last effort before regulation ended but was blocked by Nicolas Batum.

Then, the Sixers rolled in overtime to pull of a miracle win.

“I think that considering that our No. 1 option was struggling, for him to say, ‘All right, I got to put this team on my back and go,’ I just kept encouraging him, like, to take his chances, take his shots, make plays,” Sixers coach Nick Nurse said of Maxey after the game. “And he certainly did it and got in a rhythm and made a whole bunch of them.”
