The Aug. 18, 1959 issue of The Doylestown Intelligencer reported that “Billy Kline, driving car No. 9, highlighted the weekly racing of the Doylestown Quarter-Midget Racing Club Friday night on the Country Fair Grounds track before a crowd of 300.” On May 19, 1960, the newspaper reported on “tomorrow night’s opening program of the DQMRC at the Doylestown Shopping Center parking lot.” In August 1962, “Quarter Midget drivers from all over the United States will converge on the Doylestown Quarter Midget track at the Doylestown Shopping Center.
