Hurricane bats come alive early in win over Spring Valley
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -The homestanding Hurricane Redskins wasted little time jumping on rival Spring Valley at Lola Meeks field Tuesday night. Freshman Tyler Baxter stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 1st inning and sent a deep drive over the centerfield wall to give Hurricane a 5-0 lead. Baxter had 5 rbi on the night as Hurricane won 14-4 in 5 innings.
