Paulding & Wayne Trace Split Paulding County Track Meet victory
The Paulding County Track meet took place On May 6, hosted by Paulding High School with Antwerp, Paulding, and Wayne Trace participating. In the boys division the Raiders came out on top with a score of 90, Paulding second with 57.5 and Antwerp followed with 26.5 points. Boys discus was topped by Foltz with 151’6” of WT, followed by Stouffer of WT with 144’8” and third was Woods from Paulding at 140’8”.
Big fifth sends Wildcats over Panthers
PAULDING – A five-run fifth inning by visiting Kalida proved to be the difference as the Wildcats doubled up host Paulding 8-4 Monday night in high school baseball play. Leading 1-0 entering the fifth, Kalida plated five runs in the visitors half of the fifth to extend the margin to 6-0.
Lincolnview beats Columbus Grove in district semis
ELIDA—The Lincolnview Lady Lancers took Monday night’s district semifinal as the top-seeded Lancers clashed with fourth-seeded Columbus Grove Bulldogs. Allie Miller drove in five runs as the Lancers pulled away with a 11-1 six inning victory to advance to the district title game on Friday.

Bryan, WT win Antwerp Invite
The Antwerp Track Invitational was held Friday evening at Archer Field with the Bryan boys and Wayne Trace girls taking home team championships. The Golden Bears rolled to the boys title with 177 points while Wayne Trace finished second at 118 and Antwerp placed third with 69. Edon (67), Swanton (59), Fairview (41) and Delphos Jefferson 34) completed the schools participating.

MIDDLE POINT — Lincolnview used a solid pitching performance Friday night to defeat Leipsic 5-0 in Northwest Conference action. Luke Bollenbacher went the distance for the Lancers allowing just two hits with nine strikeouts.
