NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — Eastside High School, formerly Woodrow Wilson High, will be closed next year for a $105 million reconstruction .

The school district made the announcement Tuesday, saying students will be temporarily relocated to a swing space at the former Alfred Cramer College Preparatory School for the next several years.

The Cramer school closed in 2021. The district said a thorough process went into selecting it as the swing space.

Officials say they will ensure it is fully equipped to welcome students and staff. Efforts are underway to make necessary changes to suit Eastside students' needs there.

The new school is scheduled to open in 2029.
