It's official: Chick-fil-A announces opening date for Paramus store at old Fireplace site
An official opening date was announced for the new Paramus Chick-fil-A, which replaced the beloved Fireplace restaurant on Route 17. The fast-food outlet will start serving customers in Paramus on May 2, the same day the new Chick-fil-A in Parsippany is also scheduled to open. The chain has over 3,000 locations across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, including 61 in New Jersey.
Large coyote spotted strolling through New York’s Central Park
A large coyote was spotted strolling around New York’s Central Park last weekend.The coyote was in the Cherry Hill area of the park just north of East 72nd Street.Brett Cohn, a resident of the Upper East Side, captured the footage during an early morning run.“It stopped me in my tracks completely,” he said.Mr Cohn added that the coyote was “definitely inquisitive” and was around the size of a large German shepherd.A statement from New York City’s Parks Department said there was “no reason to believe this particular coyote is unhealthy or poses a threat to human safety” but did advise people to “keep their distance and avoid close contact”. The Stew Leonard's Farm Fresh Food and Wine store will be opening on Friday, May 17 in Clifton's Styertowne Shopping Center at 467 Allwood Road. The 56,000 square foot grocery and wine store is the second of its kind in New Jersey and will feature more than a dozen local vendors from dozens of Garden State farms.
