PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – One person is in the hospital, and another is being questioned in a stabbing incident in Panama City on Friday.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. at a residence in the 1100 block of Lisenby Avenue.

Panama City Police said two people were arguing at the home, one stabbed the other and then left the scene.

Investigators said the suspect ran to a neighbor’s home on Lisenby, about two blocks North. That’s where police officers took the suspect into custody. So far they have not been charged.

Authorities have not released the names of either person involved, or the reason for the stabbing.

Authorities said this was a domestic incident, and they suspect alcohol was involved.

Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
