PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Three men were arrested on May 8, after a series of events. One man is charged with running from a traffic stop in what deputies believed was a stolen vehicle, another is charged with helping the first man hide from law enforcement, and the third is charged with lying to law enforcement about his car being stolen in the first place.

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Three motorcyclists died in traffic crashes on the Beach during the past week. In a news conference Monday, Chief J.R. Talamantez of the Panama City Beach Police Department said there were eight motorcycle crashes within the city's limits during the 2024 Thunder Beach Spring Rally, which was held May 1-5.

According to a press release from the Bay County Sheriff's Office, a 14-year-old home-schooled student posted a threat on Reddit, a social news and forum site, that threatened violence at Bay High School.
