PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Panama City Beach Police are now investigating two cases involving people who were found dead in wooded areas.

The latest case began Monday night.

They roped off the area with crime scene tape and began their investigation.

A city spokesperson would only confirm police had found a body and that they would provide more information on Tuesday.

On Tuesday morning the same spokesperson told us they do not suspect foul play, that they have not identified the victim, and that the body had been turned over to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

UPDATE: Another day and still no information about two separate death investigations. The only thing beach police will say is they do not suspect foul play. They have not given any indication when they will talk about either investigation.
