    Convicted Owensboro drug trafficker sentenced to 30 years in federal prison

    HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Owensboro man will spend the next 30 years in federal prison after being sentenced on Thursday.

    Cedric Swanagan, 37, was found guilty back in September 2023 for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.

    Owensboro Police state Swanagan faced a mandatory minimum of 15 years to life in prison.
