KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Joplin, Mo., Police Captain has been honored for heroic actions he took during a 2022 shooting spree that took the lives of two of his coworkers. U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) announced on Friday, May 17, that Joplin, Missouri, Police Captain William Davis was honored as a Champion of Missouri following his heroic actions.
