The body of a man recovered Wednesday morning in the Willamette River has been identified as the St. Paul businessman who had been missing since February.

Oregon State Police said a fisherman found the body of Gurjinder "Gary" Singh Grewal, 48, of Woodburn, in the river between Oregon City and West Linn at 10:37 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police said there weren't any “suspicious circumstances surrounding the recovery at this time.”

Grewal was last seen about 11 a.m. on Feb. 8 walking on the St. Paul Bridge over the Willamette River.

Police found a black Honda Pilot south of the bridge.

Search crews combed the area for weeks looking for Grewal, but could not find him.

Grewal was the co-owner of St. Paul Market and Rodeo Inn.
